Shopping in Liverpool

For those in need of some serious retail therapy the City of Liverpool is the place to visit. Shopping in Liverpool’s ONE has the very best fashion shops all within the complex. Sturdy walking shoes are needed here as ONE is the size of 28 full sized football pitches, however it also includes cafes and restaurants, a cinema and apartments.

Designer names can be found in The Cavern Walks shopping centre located on the famous Mathew Street. Some great Beatles merchandise can be brought from The Cavern Walks as well as a multitude of famous names including Vivienne Westwood, Cricket and Dome.

Visit the Met Quarter, Liverpool’s newest shopping centre, for some more serious shopping as it hosts all the trendiest brands, some of which are exclusive to the Met Quarter. While shopping you can also look at the many art works which are displayed here.

For serious Beatles fans shopping in Liverpool’s Albert Docks is a must, the Apple store and the ‘Beatles Story’ gift stores are to be found here along with numerous art shops and galleries, Albert Dock is just a short walk from the city centre.

You will find over 100 shops in St. John’s Shopping Centre. Here there are budget and designer shops including jewellery stores and home furnishings retailers. There is also a lively market within the shopping centre which can be a more relaxing shopping experience.

Shopaholics will be delighted by Clayton Square which is an impressive glass construction housing a wide variety of popular high street names.

Shopping in Liverpool is not confined to shopping malls, for those who prefer to wander outside yet stay within the city centre Church Street has all the major high street retailers for you to peruse, nearby Bold Street boasts a wide variety of shops to suit all tastes.
