Take a Holiday in Cornwall

by Don

Cornwall is absolutely stuffed with places and reasons to visit. The first few are all to do with Cornwall’s unique location. Its climate and day-to-day weather are instant draws for a lot of people from the UK as it offers warmer and dryer summers than the rest of the UK. Complimenting this perfectly, Cornwall has the most coastline of any county in the UK, and all along this coastline are fabulous beaches. The combination of great beaches and great weather are an incredible draw, so it’s no wonder there’s such high demand for cottages in Cornwall.

As for things to do, Cornwall is heavily invested in its tourism industry, and many large projects, especially those that make use of the county’s natural assets and beauty, such as the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project, have thrived there. Entirely natural, but still incredible, attractions such as Land’s End and Bodmin Moor can also offer incredible experiences, especially for those who enjoy trekking to out of the way areas to enjoy the views they offer.

Even without visiting these places, Cornwall offers a huge amount to those who just want to get out and explore. All of the coast that Cornwall has contains some excellent walks and views, and many of the seafront towns along the way can offer superb fresh seafood. And, even though this post has already mentioned it, we really do have to stress how many good beaches there are.

So, all in all, Cornwall has something for everybody, which might be why so many people enjoy a family holiday in Cornwall year after year.
